The film coater develops the glue to have not only a performing bonding but also a flame-retardant behavior to limit the flammability of the complete busbar (conductor insulator) assembly. Polyester (PET) is the most commonly used flexible insulation material and has a bright or white appearance. Based on insulating material, the laminated busbar market is segmented into polyester film, heat-resistant fiber, epoxy powder coating, polyamide film, and epoxy glass. In terms of insulation material, the polyamide film segment is expected to dominate the laminated busbar market during the forecast period.
