Furthermore, MWCNTs have high thermal conductivity and can be used to boost the ability of ordinarily insulating materials to convey heat. This can be beneficial in applications requiring heat dissipation, such as electronics. Thermally conductive ceramics can be helpful in situations where metals are forbidden due to undesirable strains or chemical instability. In addition, MWCNTs are stronger than steel, with tensile strengths ranging from 10 to 50 GPa versus 0.5 GPa of mild steel. When utilized as an additive in material, even a small fraction of MWCNTs can significantly enhance its properties. In addition, multiwalled carbon nanotubes are used in aerospace applications such as equipment enclosures, aircraft interiors, coatings, cockpit, crew gear, resilient space mirrors, nozzles, and solar array substrates as high performance and being lightweight is critical in constructions in the aerospace industry. Thus, the expanding applications of MWCNTs boost market growth.
